What makes volume different from classic?
With classic 1:1 eyelash extensions we can achieve amazing looks that CRUSH what even the BEST mascara can offer.
We have always been limited by the amount of natural lashes a client has as well as the different amount of lashes on each eye. This pushes us to lash to the weakest eye to maintain symmetry.
For years our clients have wanted….”MORE”. Our only options were longer and thicker diameters, which became problematic when our client’s natural lashes could not safely support these extensions.
Volume technique has become the answer!
Volume techniques allow us to apply multiple extensions to ONE isolated natural lash.
The “Russian Volume” technique masterfully achieves this with far thinner lashes than we have typically used. The result? A full, lush lash line that appears fluffy and soft and maintains the health and safety of our client’s natural lashes.
Typically, the diameters used for the volume technique are .07 and .10 (.05 and .06 have now entered the market!!!). We also use a significantly smaller amount of adhesive.
Russian & Hollywood Volume Lash Course
Step up your training and give your clients thicker, fuller lashes.This advanced volume course is reserved for technicians with a strong background in lashing. Prerequisites include adequate skills in: Isolation, adhesive use, extension attachment, and styling (A proof of certificate in basic training is required). We recommend 6 months hands on experience in the application of single lashes.
The Russian technique was developed by a Russian lash professional who brought her technique to North America. Her technique is referred to as 2D and 3D Russian Volume.
The Hollywood Volume technique was introduced in the latter part of 2013, by professionals competing in Lash Wars. In this competitive environment, they came up with the application of 4D, 5D and 6D lashes. Hollywood Volume Technique is also known as the Advanced Volume Technique. Learning this latest technique will bring your skill set to the next level.
